IMPORTANT INSTALLATION NOTE: Please make sure to un-install copies
of any other remote control software on your PC prior to installing Proxy. Doing
so will eliminate the possibility of conflicts between the programs. In addition,
if you install the Proxy 30-day trial on the same machine as an earlier version
of Proxy, your installation will revert to a 30-day trial installation.
IMPORTANT INSTALLATION NOTE FOR GATEWAY: This product provides
strong security using Windows Authentication. The operating system security policy
”Network Access: Sharing and security model for local accounts” must be set to "Classic"
mode, not "Guest only" mode. This policy can be configured from the Control Panel
in Administrative tools > Local Security Policy > Security Options. This product
does not operate on Windows XP Home Edition, which does not support this policy.
